Refund Policy

Thank you for being a part of The Sacred Fig community! Please carefully read our refund policy – it applies to everyone, every time!

Payment Policy

We accept payment by PayPal or bank transfer. We hold bank accounts in various currencies to make transfers quite easy. For our bank details please click here. Please note that any additional bank transaction charges, such as transfer or foreign exchange fees, are your responsibility. If you choose to pay your remainder payment via PayPal, you are responsible for their 4% fee. Please also be sure to identify your transfer with your name and the retreat or training that you’re signing up for.

Your Deposit

Program deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. It is your responsibility to ensure you can attend the program before placing your deposit. It is also your responsibility to purchase travel cancellation insurance! If your retreat or training application is not accepted, we will immediately notify you and refund your deposit in full, via the same means that we received it.

Early Registration Pricing

Some programs have early-registration pricing.  To be eligible for the early-bird discount, the balance payment is due in full by the specific deadline listed on our website. If the balance is not paid by the early-bird deadline, the regular pricing applies.

Your Remainder Payment

In all cases, full payment for the program must be received no later than 60 days before the start date to hold your spot. In the case of any bookings made after this date, payment must be made in full at the time of registration. In the months leading up to the final payment date, you will receive reminders to complete your payment. If we do not receive your payment on time, your spot will be made available to those on the waitlist and you will forfeit your deposit. There are no refunds or transfers of payments after the above deadline. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Travel Cancellation Insurance

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat or training, but unexpected things do happen, some of which are beyond your control. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel cancellation insurance to cover any possible loss. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

If you have to cancel your reservation with The Sacred Fig, please inform us as soon as possible. The Sacred Fig does not offer refunds. If you cancel your reservation altogether up to 60 days prior to the start date of your retreat or training, you will forfeit your deposit. The remaining balance may be used as credit for another event within two years of the date of your confirmed cancellation. For last minute cancellations (less than 60 days prior to start date of your retreat) any fees paid will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

Due to non-recoverable payments that we must make in advance to secure the retreat centers, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, inclement weather, acts of terrorism, illness, health conditions, medical or personal or family or work emergencies, or change of mind. If you cannot reach the retreat or training due to unforeseen circumstances such as (but not limited to) strikes, weather circumstances, and missed, delayed or canceled flights, retreat and training fees are unfortunately non-refundable and non-transferable. If you arrive late or need to leave your retreat or training early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.

We Strongly Recommend You Purchase Travel Cancellation Insurance.

If The Sacred Fig must cancel a program, we will notify you as soon as possible, and you may transfer your payment to another program, or you can request a refund. If The Sacred Fig must postpone a scheduled program, we will notify you as soon as possible, and you may transfer your payment to another retreat or training, subject to availability.

The Sacred Fig is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled or postponed retreat or training, such as airline tickets, loss of work, visas fees and/or other costs associated with preparation for your trip.

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including personal injuries or emergencies.

If you arrive late or need to leave your retreat or training early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.

There is no cancellation nor refund for any reason including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, illness, health conditions, medical or personal or family or work emergencies, or change of mind. We reserve the right to remove a participant from any program if their behavior is disruptive, if they fail to maintain 100% attendance during a training, or lack the skills necessary for participation in the program. Incomplete or inaccurate information on the application may result in dismissal from the program. In the event of dismissal, any refunds of tuition will be at the sole discretion of The Sacred Fig. No refunds will be made for travel, meal or accommodation packages booked.
