Tony Lupinacci

Yoga Teacher

“It's not about a career. It's about believing in something... it's about caring + empathizing + wanting to create the best, the most true, the most real. River Phoenix”

Tony is a firm believer in the transformational power of yoga. At 16 he moved to New York on his own to pursue a career in acting. This led him to work in fashion, create a successful all natural skincare line, and ultimately to teach a mindful and artfully honed yoga practice. He began his own practice over a decade ago as a way to overcome his grief after the death of his mother. He quickly recognized the deep transformative powers keeping a consistent yoga practice had on his life and made the pursuit of his yogic path a priority. Tony holds a YA RYT 500hr designation and has spent countless hours in self study and practice.

Tony is the Director of Lighthouse Yoga School in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. His teaching style blends elements of Ashtanga, Bikram, Forrest, Dharma and Iyengar Yoga. He values breathwork, kriya meditation, and mantra practice and incorporates them in his teaching to help his students better understand themselves.

You can usually find Tony tending the jungle-like garden at Lighthouse Yoga School or traveling the world.
