Raghav-ji comes from a family lineage steeped in the Vedantic tradition - a background which has guided him & shaped his spiritual pursuits. He is committed to leading a life dedicated to self-enquiry (Atma-vichara) along the lines of Yoga and particularly Vedanta. For almost twenty years, he has been in full-time pursuit of sadhana (spiritual disciplines) and charitable service to underprivileged sections of Indian society through the Ramakrishna Mission organization.
In 2001, Raghav first traveled the Himalayas, to Uttarkashi & Rishikesh, where he studied Sanskrit, Vedanta and Yoga Philosophy under the guidance of Swami Dayananda Saraswati and other respected spiritual teachers connected with the Kailash Ashram tradition. Since 2004, he has been dividing his time between Uttarkashi in the Himalayas, Thiruvannamalai in Southern India near the ashram of Sri Ramana Maharshi, and teaching Yoga philosophy and Vedanta.
We are honored to have Raghav-ji as lead faculty for philosophy, pranayama & meditation on our 200 hour teacher trainings.
