I love being in my body and teach from how I know how to move in mine. I use Katonah Yoga theory, literature, Chinese Medicine, and Taoist philosophy as rudders in my classes and believe these archetypes teach us to consciously move through ourselves, with ourselves, in order to know ourselves better. I believe so strongly in the potency of the Katonah Yoga theory and know when integrated into one’s practice and life, it helps better discern blind spots in the body and life. This practice offers techniques to help meet resistance – physiologically and psychologically – with gentle inquiry, curiosity, an appetite for exploration, but most importantly an accessible map whose boon helps us traverse life with skill, grace, and consciousness.
