This retreat takes place from June 22-28, 2025. &nbsp;You can check-in at the property on June 22nd after 3pm. If you arrive in Lake Como before 3pm, enjoy a nice lakeside lunch before making your way to the property. We'll practice yoga together on arrival day at 5:30pm. Check-out on June 28th is 10am. On departure day, we'll offer a short morning practice and breakfast, in order for everyone to be able to leave by 10am. Each day is balanced between optional group activities, and free time. Everything is optional: you can get into as much or as little as you want. Below is a schedule to give you a general idea. Whether you want to embrace your introvert, or hang out with new friends - there will be plenty of opportunity for both.

Movement + Breath.
Intelligent, rigorous vinyasa yoga, woven together with breath and mindfulness techniques.  

Nourish.
Enjoy a healthy breakfast.  Expect local fruits, yogurt, eggs, freshly baked breads, homemade jams, and freshly brewed coffee & teas.

Play.
We'll offer a morning adventure for those who want to join, whether finding a thermal swim spot, or lathering ourselves in volcanic mud!

For all lunches during our week together you have the opportunity to head to explore the local italian flavours. These lunches are at your own expense.

Chill.
Read a book on the terrace, take a nap... slow down. 

Movement & Breath.
The afternoon class is typically more hatha or workshop style in format. One day we might skip yoga and linger on a boat on the lake.

Nourish.
We feast!  Grab a fabulous bottle of local wine for a reasonable price.

An annual retreat with our best friends at <a href="https://www.skyting.com/">Sky Ting Yoga</a>. Space is limited to 16 students.&nbsp;For many of us, our day-to-day reality is a demanding job + daily social obligations. &nbsp;Tech that was designed to simplify our lives&nbsp;has somehow made our lives more complicated. Our culture tells us&nbsp;that being 'busy' is a good thing… it means we're in demand + successful. &nbsp;Whether we see this busy-ness as self-imposed or not, it’s hard to align ourselves with the person we want to be.When was the last time you felt&nbsp;fully recharged? &nbsp;When was the last time you had the space to dedicate to the things that you truly find important? This retreat is designed to re-align &amp; re-calibrate. &nbsp;To step away from our day-to-day dramas, and get a greater perspective on ourselves, our goals, our desires, &amp; our friendships. We've thoughtfully curated the entire week for you.&nbsp;At this special Lake Como retreat - expect afternoon naps overlooking the lake, and sunset meditations in the garden. Expect gorgeous meals prepared by our private chef, and some world-class yoga asana . Expect to create new bonds, share surprising conversations &amp; laughter... and still find plenty of time for self-reflection.

Accomodations

Two meals per day for the duration of the retreat, cooked by our favorite private chef. Some lunches we'll go out as a group, some days we'll boat to lunch, and same days you're free to do your own thing! You are responsible for paying for your own lunches. Alcohol is not included. We have a selection of fabulous local Italian wines from €20 / bottle and up. You can also bring some bottles of your favorite wine and share with your new friends!&nbsp;

Food

Access to the stunning property, including terraces, gardens &amp; art. The wifi is medieval, so leave your work at home.

Lago di Como has been a destination since the ancient Roman days. Even Virgil once declared Lake Como “our greatest lake”. Two thousand years later, and we're still in awe of its lush green hillsides that plunge into that sparkling, cobalt &amp; emerald water. Today, epic villas preside over the lake, and clusters of pretty towns line its shores. Equal parts glamorous and discreet, the best way to visit the lake is with a private villa.There's so much more to Como than the obvious delights—though there's no denying the charm of lakeside Aperol Spritz' or the charming Italian men captaining sleek vintage boats across the water, straight out of The Talented Mr. Ripley.&nbsp;It's also about exploring the winding trails, and savor thick slices of local cheese. It's about discovering old stone footbridges along cobbled paths, and enjoying long lunches of house-made pappardelle and a fabulous carafe of house wine.&nbsp;

Our private villa is situated in the charming hilltop town of Brunate, which overlooks Lake Como. Brunate is accessed by funicular, which takes 7 minutes from Lake Como town. &nbsp;Our villa has four floors, with breathtaking panoramic vistas of the lake below. &nbsp;It's dotted with magical footpaths, terraces and lookouts. At night, the estate becomes charming and magical, conceived for strolls among the trees under the stars.Le Camere. (the rooms) The property has a total of 10 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. &nbsp;All of the bathrooms are shared - there are no en-suite baths available. The property spans over 13,000 meters, with gardens, pine-forests and terraces. This is the most intimate retreat we offer, with space limited to 16 students. &nbsp;Each room is unique, with it's own charm. &nbsp;Some bedrooms have one large bed, some hame one small bed, and some have two twin beds. &nbsp;Rates vary depending on your room choice. Please keep in mind this is not a resort - it's a private villa. If you are looking for a JW Mariott with staff and turn-down service, this is simply not the retreat for you. If you appreciate understated beauty, then this IS for you! &nbsp;The property is so spacious, with many places to relax, chat or study - and that from our experience people really only use their rooms to sleep.&nbsp;La Cucina. (the food) Two meals per day are included in this retreat. For breakfast, expect eggs, local breads &amp; pastries, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, local melons, and fresh brewed coffee. &nbsp;Lunch is typically on your own. &nbsp;Some days we'll head out on a boat, and stop by a lakeside spot for lunch. Some days you can explore on your own. &nbsp;For dinner, expect Italian pastas, both meat &amp; vegetarian options, grilled local veggies, and ancient grains. &nbsp;Fabulous local wines (think Barolo &amp; Franciacorta) is available for purchase at a reasonable price. &nbsp;We are bringing our favorite chef for the week, so the food will be spectacular. The menu items listed above are just to give you an idea! &nbsp;We provide fruits, water, and coffee. &nbsp;If you would like an early morning coffee before meditation, you'll be able to make your own. &nbsp;After morning asana, our chef will prepare coffee along with breakfast for everyone to enjoy. &nbsp;How To Arrive. The easiest way to get to Lake Como is to fly into Milan, rent a car in Milan, and drive one hour to the lake. Check <a href="https://www.skyscanner.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">skyscanner.com</a> for flight options. Depending on if you're travelling alone or with a friend, the best option is to rent a car or share a rental car with someone else. &nbsp;If you don't feel comfortable renting a car (or just don't want to), we will pair you with someone else arriving at the same time, so that you can drive together. &nbsp;Renting a car in Italy is extremely easy &amp; affordable. &nbsp;It's important that we have enough cars for everyone to be able to explore the lake freely.&nbsp;Activities. Lake Como has something for everyone, from quaint towns filled with art &amp; restaurants, to gorgeous hiking, of course the beautiful lake itself. Our property accesses the city of Como via a 7 minute funicular. &nbsp;The quaint historic city center is enclosed by a high medieval wall. Here it's picture perfect cobblestone streets, teeming with shops and restaurants, the 15th century Duomo, and of course the lakefont. &nbsp;We will head out on a boat at least two days, and explore, swim, go for lunch.&nbsp;What's Not Included? Wine, car rental, lunches out, and boats.
